Remote island shoot: filming on Karpathos required the autonomy and preparation that come with working far from major production infrastructure in Greece.
Very windy exterior conditions called for a strong location sound package to keep the recording usable throughout the shoot.
Music documentary dimension: the work involved recording live musicians in multiple locations while preserving both clarity and atmosphere.
A light and responsive vérité setup was essential in order to follow the rhythm of the village without disrupting it.
